Chempedak is a tropical fruit closely related to jackfruit, with elongated, yellow-green fruit and soft, golden flesh inside. The flesh is sweet, fragrant, and richly flavoured—excellent eaten fresh or cooked, especially battered and fried. Each fruit contains multiple edible segments with a strong, honey-like aroma and custard-like texture ,much smaller than jackfruit
