ORGANIC PEST CONTROL

Eco Oil:
eco-oil is a registered organic miticide and insecticide. It controls a range of problem insects including scale, aphids, two-spotted mite, whitefly, mealybugs and citrus leafminer. Safe for use on veggies, as well as ornamentals, with no withholding period. Spray and eat on the same day! Also safe for beneficial insects like bees, ladybeetles and earthworms.
eco-oil is now HIPPO Enhanced!
HIPPO Enhanced eco-oil is a revolutionary approach to pest control and is the results of a 3 year research project with Charles Sturt University.
The project investigated the natural defense mechanisms of plants, in particular the way plants produce volatile organic compounds when being attacked by pests. These compounds act as SOS messages to beneficial insects letting them know that tasty snacks are on nearby plants! A whole range of beneficial insects are attracted including ladybeetles, lacewings, hoverflies and parasitoids.
The HIPPO Enhanced eco-oil formulation replicates this defence mechanism by including these organic compounds into spray. The research clearly showed that the HIPPO Enhanced eco-oil will attract beneficial insects into the garden. Pretty amazing hey?
So use HIPPO Enhanced eco-oil to kill those troublesome pests and at the same time it will attract beneficial insects to help get your garden ecosystem into better balance.

Eco Neem:
eco-neem is a registered organic insecticide for the control of a broad range of chewing and sucking insects including: caterpillars, curl grubs, grasshoppers (wingless), aphids, mites, lawn armyworm, citrus leafminer, whitefly, mealybugs and fungus gnats in soil. It will also control sooty mould. Overseas registration includes over 200 pest insects.
Made from extracts of the neem tree (Azadirachtin A & B) and mixed with other plant oils to enhance it’s stability and shelf-life.
eco-neem works in multiple ways with the two main actions being suppression of insect appetite (they starve to death) and restricting growth (unable to moult successfully). Plant damage stops as soon as the insect ingests eco-neem but insect death may take several days depending on their size and type.
eco-neem is safe for pets, birds, lizards and beneficial insects including bees. Avoid using around ponds and in aquaponics as it can be harmful to fish.
eco-neem is approved for use on ornamental plants only. It currently does not have approval for use on edible plants.
Features:
-
Controls a very broad range of chewing and sucking insects
-
Stabilised neem extract with a 2 year shelf-life from Date of Manufacture
-
Very concentrated and used at low rates (2-3ml/L for most pests)
-
Safe for beneficial insects including bees
-

OCP eco-insect killer is approved for use in organic gardens and is also non-residual in the soil.
Features:
-

-
Fast knockdown of pests
-
Non-residual
Copper Oxychloride:
Searles Copper Oxychloride is an effective broad-spectrum protectant fungicide with low risk of resistance development, due to the copper mechanisms of multiple action. Copper is actively accumulated in the fungal spores, inhibiting germination, even at very low concentrations. It is particularly effective against blight, scab, freckle, and bacterial speck to name a few.

Wettable Sulphur:
Searles Wettable Sulphur is a professional grade fungicide / miticide. Wettable Sulphur has been well established as a cost-effective fungicide protectant for many years. The sulphur of Wettable Sulphur acts as a spore killer. Spores accumulate sulphur which interfere with important processes in fungal spores.
Searles Wettable Sulphur is noted for its ability to suppress mite populations, and is particularly effective against tomato russet mite, bean spider mite and grape leaf blister mite (erinose) to name a few
