The Brazilian Cherry is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub or small tree that produces ribbed, cherry-sized fruit that ripens from green to deep red or black. The fruit has a unique, sweet-tart flavour and is great for eating fresh, juicing, or making jams. It also makes an excellent hedge or screening plant with its dense foliage and ornamental appeal.
