The Kampong Mauve Sugar Apple (also purple Sugar Apple) is a rare, beautiful tropical fruit known for its deep purple or reddish skin with magenta accents, creamy white pulp, and custard-like texture, tasting sweet with hints of tropical fruit and vanilla, containing numerous black seeds, and is about the size of a baseball or softball, ripening to a soft, sugary-sweet state.
